Row Row Row Your Boat...

After watching the Rockies demolish the Indians the Fellowship decided to check out a little Denver nightlife. We parked the RV over at the Pepsi Center and walked to a bar-filled street. First up was Spill, which sported a solid happy hour special of $1.00 PBRs for all. After that round we made it over to Maloney's which sucked us in with thier own request DJ and 32 oz. Silver Bullets. Joe requested the Darkness, Brother bested the Black Widow in pool, and we all left for rafting pretty happy at 1AM.
Steve-O took the driving duties to our rafting sight with Drewby in the navigator's seat. Thankfully we made it through the mountins in one piece and didn't kill any deer.
The next morning, we awoke to the beauty that is the Rocky Mountains. Take a look at the view outside our RV door.

Not bad eh?

Then after some waking up we hiked up to the cabin to meet our guides for the day. Two cool dudes, Kenny and Zach, ended up with the duties, and although Brother and Mountain Drew got stuck with a family of schmucks, all went quite well. Our intended itinerary (the Gauntlet) got kai-boshed because of a fast river, but our new route certainly wasn't boring. We hit rapids like the Widow Maker, Twin Falls, Sidle's Suckhole, the Narrows, and Pinball Passage that made us forget that this was a second choice. None of us fell out but we did pass three flipped rafts and collected many-a-paddles for them. At one point on Kenny's raft we ran into such a gnarly wave he actually exclaimed "OH SHIT!" before it hit us. Here are some pics, Drewby and Brother in the red guide raft, everyone else in the other...
